Monthly Maintenance

Help preserve the beauty and integrity of Gaineswood by assisting with routine maintenance projects throughout the year. Volunteers support efforts that keep the historic property welcoming, safe, and well cared for for visitors and the community.

Garden Work

Join us in caring for the gardens that enhance Gaineswood’s historic landscape. Volunteers help plant, weed, prune, and maintain flower beds and greenery, ensuring the grounds remain beautiful throughout every season.

Yard Work

Volunteers play an important role in maintaining the appearance of the museum grounds through seasonal yard work. Tasks may include raking leaves, clearing debris, mulching, and helping keep the property neat and inviting.

Events

From educational programs to community celebrations, volunteers help bring Gaineswood’s events to life. Opportunities include assisting with setup, greeting guests, supporting activities, and helping create memorable experiences for visitors.

Christmas Decorating

Celebrate the holiday season by helping transform Gaineswood into a festive historic showcase. Volunteers assist with decorating trees, hanging garlands, arranging displays, and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for holiday visitors.
